Pacemaker PH4050 headers (extractors) are designed for Ford Falcon XR, XT, XW and XY models fitted with 302 or 351 Cleveland V8 engines using 2V cylinder heads.
TRI-Y design with 44mm primary pipes, 51mm secondary pipes and 57mm outlets designed to improve exhaust flow, torque, throttle response and engine performance.

The TRI-Y configuration is designed to promote efficient exhaust gas flow and scavenging across a broad engine speed range, making Pacemaker PH4050 headers well suited to classic Falcon restorations and street performance Cleveland V8 applications.

Pipe Over Cone Technology

All Pacemaker headers are manufactured with the pipes flared and welded over the collector cone, so nothing protrudes inside the collector cone, therefore increasing exhaust gas flow and eliminating turbulence inside the exhaust header. The result is better gas flow and increased horsepower.

Why Good Headers & Exhaust Systems Matter

• At 3000rpm, a 351 Cleveland draws in approximately 7,300L/min intake airflow and expels around 22,000L/min exhaust gas [@600°C]

Installation Tips

• Remove all traces of the old gaskets and inspect the cylinder-head sealing surfaces.
• Trial-fit both header assemblies and check all clearances before fully tightening the mounting hardware.
• Check clearance around the steering, starter motor, engine mounts, transmission, spark plugs and plug leads.
• Protect painted or ceramic-coated surfaces during trial fitting and installation.
• Check all exhaust connections for leaks after installation.
• Retighten the header bolts after the initial heat cycles.
