Pacemaker PH4019 headers (extractors) are designed for Ford Falcon FG XR8 and FPV GT models fitted with the naturally aspirated 5.4L 4-valve BOSS Quad Cam V8 engine.
PH4019 uses Pacemaker's Tri-Y design with 44mm (1¾") primary pipes, 51mm (2") secondary pipes and 63mm (2½") outlets. The Tri-Y configuration is designed to improve exhaust-gas scavenging and flow while providing strong usable torque and throttle response for street and performance applications.
Please check availability and current lead time before ordering.
Pacemaker PH4019 headers use mandrel-bent pipework and a vehicle-specific Tri-Y configuration developed for the Ford Falcon FG 5.4L 4-valve BOSS V8 application.
The standard headers are supplied in Pacemaker's protective finish. Ceramic coating is also available separately for customers wanting additional heat management and corrosion protection.
Gaskets, bolts, outlet flanges and other installation hardware should not be assumed included unless specifically confirmed with the current PH4019 package supplied.
At 4,000 rpm, the 5.4L BOSS V8 theoretically draws approximately 10,800 litres of intake air per minute at 100% volumetric efficiency and expels around 32,400 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute at approximately 600°C.
Actual airflow varies with RPM, engine load, volumetric efficiency, intake restriction, camshaft specification and engine condition. These figures are theoretical values intended to illustrate the substantial volume of gas that must pass through the exhaust system at higher engine speeds.
A well-designed header and exhaust system helps manage this high gas flow efficiently, reducing restriction and improving exhaust scavenging, torque, throttle response and engine performance.
Pacemaker PH4019 headers are covered against manufacturing defects subject to Pacemaker's current warranty terms and conditions.
The vehicle's catalytic converters, oxygen sensors and other emissions-control equipment must remain correctly installed and operational where required. Check applicable state or territory requirements covering exhaust modifications, emissions, vehicle noise and roadworthiness.
