The Datsun L-Series 2.0L engine moves a significant volume of air for its size, making efficient exhaust flow essential for both performance and engine efficiency.
- At 4,000 rpm, the engine draws approximately 3,400 litres of intake air per minute and expels approximately 10,100 litres of exhaust gas (at approximately 600°C).
- At 5,000 rpm, airflow increases to approximately 4,250 litres of intake air per minute and approximately 12,600 litres of exhaust gas per minute.
