Pacemaker PH2520D headers (extractors) are designed for Chrysler Valiant VG, VH, VJ, VK, CL and CM models fitted with 245 or 265 Hemi Six engines.

Featuring large 42mm primary pipes and twin 51mm outlets, these Australian-made Pacemaker headers are designed to improve exhaust flow and scavenging, increase usable torque and sharpen throttle response compared with the restrictive factory exhaust manifold.

PH2520D headers are an excellent performance upgrade for restored Valiants, street-driven classics and modified Hemi Six combinations, including engines fitted with multiple carburettor setups.

Why Good Headers & Exhaust Systems Matter

At approximately 5,000 rpm, a Chrysler 265 Hemi Six can draw approximately 9,200 litres of intake air per minute and expel approximately 27,600 litres of exhaust gas per minute at approximately 600°C. A well-designed header and correctly sized exhaust system helps move this exhaust volume efficiently, reducing restriction and improving exhaust scavenging, throttle response and usable torque.
