Pacemaker Headers PH2535 – Chrysler Valiant 273, 318 V8 (VE, VF, VG, VH, VJ, VK, CL, CM)

Pacemaker PH2535 headers (extractors) are designed to suit Chrysler Valiant VE, VF, VG, VH, VJ, VK, CL and CM models fitted with 273 or 318 small-block V8 engines and automatic transmissions.

Featuring mandrel-bent pipework and a performance-oriented header design, PH2535 headers help improve exhaust gas flow and scavenging compared with the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds. The result can be improved usable torque, sharper throttle response and better engine breathing, particularly when combined with a suitable exhaust system.

These headers are an excellent choice for classic Valiant restorations, street performance builds and weekend cruisers requiring proven Pacemaker performance and Australian-made construction.

Will these headers fit all Chrysler Valiant V8 models listed?
Pacemaker PH2535 headers are designed for VE, VF, VG, VH, VJ, VK, CL and CM Chrysler Valiant models fitted with 273 or 318 V8 engines and automatic transmissions. Fitment restrictions apply to later CL vehicles, so check your engine number and vehicle configuration before ordering.

Do these headers fit manual transmission vehicles?
No. Pacemaker PH2535 headers are designed for automatic transmission vehicles only.

Will column-shift automatic vehicles require modification?
Possibly. Vehicles fitted with automatic column-shift linkages may require linkage modification to provide adequate clearance around the headers.

Do PH2535 headers fit all CL Valiants?
No. PH2535 headers will not fit CL models after engine number A221401167. Please check your engine number before ordering if you have a CL Valiant.

Are header gaskets included?
The cylinder-head-to-header gasket set is not included unless specifically selected or stated otherwise. The recommended gasket set is product code DSF148.

Can these headers be ceramic coated?
Yes. Ceramic coating is available separately under product code PHC10.

Will I need to modify my existing exhaust system?
Depending on the exhaust system currently fitted, connection or fabrication work may be required between the PH2535 outlets and the existing exhaust. Contact us if you need advice on suitable exhaust components.

Can I pick up from the store?
Yes. Pick up is available but must be pre-arranged before collection.
