CC41044 high-flow catalytic converter is a universal-fit replacement featuring a 400 CPI ceramic substrate, Euro 4 rating and 57mm (2.25") inlet and outlet. With a compact 115mm (4.5") body diameter, it is suitable for a wide range of custom exhaust and replacement catalytic converter applications where welding and fabrication are required.
Important: Although CC41044 is Euro 4 rated, its higher-flow design may not be suitable where a vehicle must pass a strict emissions test. A Euro 5 400 CPI converter may be more suitable for emissions-sensitive applications.

CC41044 high-flow catalytic converter is a universal-fit catalytic converter designed for custom exhaust fabrication and replacement applications requiring a 57mm (2.25") inlet and outlet.
Featuring a 400 CPI ceramic substrate and Euro 4 rating, CC70044 provides a balance between exhaust gas flow and emissions conversion. Its compact 115mm (4.5") body diameter makes it suitable for many applications where space is limited and a weld-in catalytic converter is required.
CPI means Cells Per Square Inch and refers to the density of the catalytic converter substrate. A 400 CPI ceramic substrate contains 400 small exhaust gas passages per square inch. This provides a larger catalytic surface area than lower-cell-density performance converters while still allowing good exhaust gas flow for street and replacement applications.
CC41044 is rated to Euro 4; however, catalytic converter suitability depends on the vehicle, engine condition, emissions system and applicable testing requirements.
Because this is a high-flow universal catalytic converter, it may not achieve the same emissions performance as a vehicle-specific original-equipment converter in every application. Where passing an emissions test is a primary requirement, a suitable Euro 5 400 CPI catalytic converter may be a better choice.
Verify emissions and registration requirements applicable to your vehicle before installation.
Premature catalytic converter failure can be caused by engine misfires, excessively rich fuel mixtures, oil consumption, coolant contamination, engine overheating and other engine or fuel-system faults. The cause of the original catalytic converter failure should be diagnosed and rectified before installing a replacement converter.
Note: Exhaust flanges, oxygen sensor bosses, gaskets and installation hardware are not included unless specifically stated or selected separately.
Warranty applies according to the manufacturer's current warranty terms and conditions.
Catalytic converter warranty generally does not cover failure caused by an underlying engine, ignition, fuel-system, oil-consumption, overheating or contamination problem.
Verify emissions and registration compliance for your vehicle and application before installation.
What size exhaust does CC41044 suit?
CC70044 has a 57mm (2.25") inlet and 57mm (2.25") outlet.
Is CC41044 a direct-fit catalytic converter?
No. CC41044 is a universal weld-in catalytic converter, so welding and exhaust fabrication are required.
What substrate does it use?
CC41044 uses a 400 CPI ceramic substrate.
Does it have an oxygen sensor fitting?
No. There is no oxygen sensor boss fitted to the converter. If one is required, it must be installed separately in the appropriate exhaust position.
Is this catalytic converter Euro 4 rated?
Yes. CC1044 is rated to Euro 4. However, vehicle emissions performance depends on the complete engine and exhaust system, so a Euro 4 rating does not guarantee that every vehicle will pass a specific emissions test.
Would a Euro 5 converter be better for an emissions test?
Potentially, yes. Where emissions-test performance is a priority, a suitable Euro 5 400 CPI catalytic converter may provide a better option depending on the vehicle and application.
Can I pick up from the store?
Yes. Pick up is available but must be pre-arranged before collection.
How much is freight?
Freight varies depending on your delivery location and where stock is available. Please contact us for freight charges before ordering. Where possible, we can arrange dispatch from the nearest available product location to help reduce freight costs and delivery times.
