The Best Mufflers ML-RM01 sports rear muffler assembly is a direct-fit performance replacement designed for selected Mitsubishi Lancer CJ and CF sedans from 2008 to 2017 fitted with the 2.0L 4B11 or 2.4L 4B12 MIVEC petrol engine.

ML-RM01 replaces the original rear muffler assembly with a quality stainless steel sports muffler, 2.25" pipework and a 3.50" stainless steel exhaust tip. It is designed to provide improved exhaust flow and a deeper sports exhaust note without producing an excessively loud exhaust.

Important Fitment Information

This muffler does not suit the earlier rear exhaust configuration fitted to some CJ Lancer sedans.

Earlier vehicles, including the 2010 CY4A 2.0L configuration, can be fitted with a large transverse factory muffler that runs across the rear of the vehicle. ML-RM01 is not interchangeable with this transverse muffler assembly.

Before ordering, check the position and shape of the original rear muffler and compare it with the product photographs. If your original muffler runs across the width of the rear of the vehicle, ML-RM01 is not suitable.

FAQ

Will this fit a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer CJ 2.0L?
Not if the vehicle is fitted with the large factory transverse rear muffler that runs across the back of the vehicle. ML-RM01 is designed for the later rear muffler configuration.

How can I tell which rear muffler my Lancer has?
Look underneath the rear of the vehicle. If the original muffler is a large unit running across the width of the vehicle, ML-RM01 is not suitable. Compare your original exhaust with the product photographs or contact Best Mufflers if you are unsure.

Does installation require welding?
