Installation Tips

Before removing the original exhaust, apply penetrating lubricant such as WD-40 to the exhaust fasteners. Lubricating the exhaust mounting rubbers will also make removal and installation easier.

Inspect the GMG093 exhaust gasket and GMR007 mounting rubber during installation. Replace deteriorated components to help prevent exhaust leaks, excessive exhaust movement and premature failure.

After installation, check the rear muffler and pipework for adequate clearance from the vehicle body, suspension and surrounding components. Start the engine and inspect all exhaust connections for leaks.
