Installation Tips

Before removing the original exhaust, apply penetrating lubricant such as WD-40 to the exhaust fasteners. Lubricating the exhaust mounting rubbers will also make removal and installation easier.

Inspect the GMG093 exhaust gasket and GMR007 mounting rubber during installation and replace deteriorated components where required.

Before installation, confirm that the vehicle has a live rear axle rather than independent rear suspension. The exhaust routing differs and BM43552A is not suitable for the IRS configuration.

After installation, check the rear muffler and pipework for adequate clearance from the body, suspension and surrounding components. Start the engine and inspect the exhaust connection for leaks.
