Installation Tips

Before removing the original exhaust, apply penetrating lubricant such as WD-40 to the exhaust fasteners. Lubricating the exhaust mounting rubbers will also make removal and installation easier.

Inspect the C11 exhaust clamp and GMR007 mounting rubbers during installation and replace any components that are worn, stretched, cracked or corroded.

Before installation, confirm that the vehicle has Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). This rear muffler is specifically designed for the IRS exhaust configuration and is not suitable for live axle models.
