Installation Tips

Before removing the original exhaust, apply penetrating lubricant such as WD-40 to the exhaust fasteners. Lubricating the exhaust mounting rubbers will also make removal and installation easier.

Inspect the GMG100 front gasket, GMG093 rear gasket, GMR008 and GMR009 mounting rubbers during installation and replace deteriorated components where required.

Before installation, confirm that the vehicle has a live rear axle rather than independent rear suspension. The exhaust routing differs and BM4585 is not suitable for the IRS configuration.

After installation, check the complete exhaust system for adequate clearance from the body, suspension and surrounding components and check all connections for exhaust leaks.
