Pacemaker PH5250 headers are designed for Holden Torana LH and LX models running 253 & 308 Holden V8 engines. These competition extractors feature interference design with mandrel-bent 1.75" primary and 1.78" secondary pipes with 3.00" four-bolt flanged outlets, boosting low- to mid-range torque, improving exhaust scavenging, and enhancing throttle response. Pacemaker PH5250 headers are engineered for Holden Torana LH and LX vehicles fitted with 253 or 308 Holden V8 engines. These tuned-length, competition-spec headers deliver superior exhaust flow and power throughout the rev range, while maintaining a strong, clean fit against the block and steering components. Designed for both manual and auto setups, including Turbo 350 / 400 transmissions and hydraulic clutch conversions.

Performance Insight

At 4000 rpm, a 308ci Holden V8 engine draws approximately 10,000 L/min of intake air and expels around 30,000 L/min of exhaust gas. The tuned pipe lengths and smooth collector transitions in PH5250 headers are designed to optimise this flow, improving exhaust pulse scavenging, torque, and throttle response across the rev range.

Installation Tips

Wrap headers in cling wrap before installation to prevent scratching the finish or engine bay surfaces. Once in place, trim around the flange, start bolts, and remove the remaining wrap before tightening. Always lubricate fasteners with WD-40 or similar for easier removal and installation.
