Pacemaker PH4019 exhaust headers (extractors) are designed for selected Ford Falcon FG XR8 and GT models fitted with the 5.4L 4V BOSS Quad Cam V8 engine.
Featuring an interference-style design with 45mm (1.75") primary pipes, 51mm (2.00") secondary pipes and 63mm (2.50") outlets, PH4019 is designed to improve exhaust gas flow and scavenging for better torque, throttle response and usable engine performance.
At 4,000 rpm, a 5.4L BOSS V8 theoretically draws in approximately 10,800 litres of intake air per minute and can expel around 32,400 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute at approximately 600°C.
A well-designed header and exhaust system helps manage this high gas flow efficiently, reducing restriction and improving exhaust scavenging, torque, throttle response and engine performance.
Pacemaker headers are covered by the manufacturer's applicable warranty conditions.
Installation must retain the catalytic converters, oxygen sensors and any other emissions-control equipment required for the vehicle. Exhaust and emissions requirements vary between Australian states and territories, and the completed installation must comply with the regulations applicable in your state or territory.
