Featuring an interference-style header design, WILD003 uses 1.50" primary pipes, 2.00" secondary pipes and a 2.50" flanged outlet. The header configuration is designed to improve exhaust gas flow and scavenging while maintaining good exhaust velocity, helping improve mid-range torque, throttle response and usable engine performance.

At 4,000 rpm, the 3.0L RB30 inline 6-cylinder engine theoretically draws in approximately 6,000 litres of intake air per minute and can expel around 18,000 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute at approximately 600°C.

Installation Tips

• Apply penetrating lubricant such as WD-40 or similar to the manifold studs, nuts and exhaust fasteners before removal
• Remove all traces of the old manifold gasket before installing the headers
• Inspect the cylinder-head sealing surface, studs and threads before installation
• Fit a new DSF059 exhaust manifold/header gasket
• Replace worn or damaged exhaust studs with TYS001 where required
• Trial-fit the headers before fully tightening the mounting hardware
• Check clearance around the engine mounts, steering, transmission and surrounding components
• Protect the painted header surfaces during trial fitting and installation
• Check all exhaust connections for leaks after installation
• Inspect and re-tighten the mounting hardware after the initial heat cycles
