Installation Tips

Before removing the original exhaust, apply penetrating lubricant such as WD-40 to the exhaust fasteners. Lubricating the exhaust mounting rubbers will also make removal and installation easier.

Inspect the GMG100 exhaust gasket, C11 clamp and GMR009 mounting rubber during installation and replace deteriorated components where required.

Before installation, confirm that the vehicle has Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). BM4575 is specifically designed for the IRS exhaust configuration and is not suitable for live axle models.

After installation, check the complete exhaust system for adequate clearance from the body, rear suspension and surrounding components. Start the engine and check all exhaust connections for leaks.
