Installation Tips

Before removing the original exhaust, apply penetrating lubricant to the exhaust flange bolts and fasteners. Lubricating the exhaust mounting rubbers will also make removal and installation easier.

Inspect the GMG100 front gasket, GMG093 rear gasket, GMR008 and GMR009 mounting rubbers during installation. Replacing deteriorated gaskets and mounting rubbers at the same time can help prevent exhaust leaks, movement and premature failure of the new assembly.

Once installed, check the complete exhaust system for adequate body and suspension clearance and check all flange connections for exhaust leaks.
