Installation Tips

• Lubricate manifold studs, nuts and exhaust fasteners with WD-40 or a similar penetrating lubricant before removal.
• Remove all traces of the old manifold gaskets before installing the headers.
• Inspect the cylinder-head sealing surfaces, manifold studs and threads before installation.
• Fit new DSF065 gaskets where required and use high-temperature exhaust sealant where recommended.
• Check EGR connections and exhaust alignment before fully tightening the system.
• Check clearance around steering, transmission, starter motor, suspension and bodywork before final tightening.
