Wildcat WILD713 exhaust headers (extractors) are designed for selected Toyota Hilux RN41 and RN46 2WD models from 8/1978 to 10/1983 fitted with the 2.0L 18R-C petrol engine.

Manufactured in Australia, WILD713 features an interference 4-2-1 design for street performance applications. The combination of 38mm primary pipes, 45mm secondary pipes and a 51mm outlet is designed to improve exhaust gas flow, torque, throttle response and usable engine performance.

Important: WILD713 will not fit leaf-spring front-end models. See WILD118 for the applicable header.

Interference 4-2-1 Design

The 4-2-1 interference design groups the four primary pipes into two secondary pipes before merging into the final outlet. This configuration is designed to help manage exhaust pulses and improve cylinder scavenging, providing strong usable torque and exhaust flow across the engine's normal street operating range.

Installation Tips

• Lubricate manifold studs, nuts and exhaust fasteners with WD-40 or a similar penetrating lubricant before removal.
• Remove all traces of the old manifold gasket before installing the headers.
• Inspect the cylinder-head sealing surface, manifold studs and threads before installation.
• Fit a new RBG118S gasket and use high-temperature exhaust sealant where recommended.
• Trial-fit the headers and check exhaust alignment before fully tightening the fasteners.
• Check clearance around steering, suspension, transmission, starter motor and bodywork.
• Re-tighten the header/manifold bolts after approximately 500km to help maintain a reliable gasket seal.
