Fitment Note: WILD126 is specifically designed for RN105 and RN110 4WD Hilux models. The RN85/RN90 2WD 22R application uses Wildcat WILD125.
4WD models only. WILD126 is not the correct header for RN85/RN90 2WD Hilux models.

DSF057 – exhaust manifold/header gasket for the Toyota 2.4L 22R application.
The 2.4L 22R engine theoretically draws approximately 4,800 litres of intake air per minute at 4,000 rpm at 100% volumetric efficiency. Once combustion has taken place, the hot exhaust gases occupy substantially more volume as they travel through the exhaust system.
Using an illustrative exhaust temperature of approximately 600°C, this represents around 14,400 litres of exhaust gas per minute. A well-designed header and exhaust system helps manage this high gas flow efficiently, reducing restriction and improving exhaust scavenging, torque, throttle response and engine performance.
Professional installation is recommended. Check exhaust alignment, mounting points, drivetrain clearance and surrounding components during installation.
Lubricate threaded fasteners with WD-40 or a similar penetrating lubricant before removal to assist with easier removal and installation. After installation and several heat cycles, inspect the system for exhaust leaks and recheck accessible fasteners where appropriate.
Installation and use must comply with applicable Australian state or territory regulations, including requirements relating to emissions equipment, catalytic converters, exhaust noise and vehicle modifications.
