Pacemaker PH12700 exhaust headers (extractors) with PHB075 base pipe are designed for selected Toyota LandCruiser HZJ75, HZJ78 and HZJ79 models fitted with the naturally aspirated 4.2L 1HZ diesel engine without EGR.

Pacemaker's Tri-Y header design replaces the restrictive factory exhaust manifold with tuned tubular pipework designed to improve exhaust gas flow and reduce restriction. This is particularly useful on hard-working 1HZ LandCruisers used for towing, touring and off-road applications.

The PH12700 uses 41mm (1 5/8") primary pipes feeding into 51mm (2") secondary pipes and a 63mm (2 1/2") outlet. The supplied PHB075 base pipe connects the headers into the exhaust system and incorporates a flex section.

Why Good Headers & Exhaust Systems Matter

At 4,000 rpm, the 4.2L 1HZ diesel draws in approximately 7,100 litres of intake air per minute at an estimated 85% volumetric efficiency and can expel around 21,300 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute.
