Wildcat WILD127 exhaust headers (extractors) are designed for selected Datsun 1200 Sedan, 1200 Ute, 120Y and Sunny applications fitted with Datsun A-series petrol engines including A10, A12, A14 and A15.

Featuring a tuned-length header design with 1.38" primary pipes and a 2.00" outlet, WILD127 is designed to improve exhaust scavenging and exhaust gas flow, helping improve torque, throttle response and usable engine performance.

WILD127 is also designed to provide clearance for twin-carburettor installations, making it suitable for standard and modified street-performance A-series engines where the correct engine mount configuration is used.

Important – A-Series Engine Mount Differences

Datsun A-series engines have different left-side engine mount bracket and block mounting positions depending on the engine and production period. These differences can affect WILD127 header clearance.

• Earlier A-series engines and chassis can use the original forward engine-mount boss position
• Later A-series blocks can use a rearward-positioned left-side engine mounting arrangement
• The different mounting position can cause interference between the engine mount bracket, header primary pipes or collector
• Vehicles fitted with engine conversions may combine an early chassis with a later engine block or vice versa
• Modification to the engine mount bracket or exhaust connection may be required on non-standard combinations
