What's Included

  • 1 x Wildcat WILD095 header/extractor assembly
  • 3 x oxygen-sensor fittings

Gaskets, bolts and other installation hardware should not be assumed to be included unless confirmed with the current product before ordering.

Recommended With

RBG019S – replacement header/manifold gasket.

Before installation, inspect the existing exhaust system, engine mounts, manifold studs, oxygen sensor, gaskets and associated mounting hardware.

Why Good Headers & Exhaust Systems Matter

At 4,000 rpm, the 2.0L 4G63 engine theoretically draws approximately 4,000 litres of intake air per minute at 100% volumetric efficiency and expels around 12,000 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute at approximately 600°C.

At the same engine speed, the 2.4L 4G64 engine theoretically draws approximately 4,800 litres of intake air per minute and expels around 14,400 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute at approximately 600°C.

A well-designed header and exhaust system helps manage this high gas flow efficiently, reducing restriction and improving exhaust scavenging, torque, throttle response and engine performance.

Installation Tips

Before installation, confirm that the vehicle is the applicable medium-wheelbase Mitsubishi L300 Express fitted with the 4G63 or 4G64 8-valve petrol engine.

Lubricate threaded fasteners with WD-40 or a similar penetrating lubricant before removal to assist with easier removal and installation.

Professional installation is recommended. After installation and several heat cycles, inspect the exhaust system for leaks and recheck accessible fasteners where appropriate.

Warranty & Compliance

Wildcat mild-steel extractors are covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty from the date of invoice, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and exclusions.

Any catalytic converter, oxygen sensor and other emissions-control equipment required for the particular vehicle must remain correctly installed and operational.

Installation must comply with applicable Australian state or territory requirements relating to emissions, exhaust noise and vehicle modifications.
