Why Good Headers and Exhaust Systems Matter

On average, a 2.0L 18RC engine draws ~4,000 L of air per minute and expels ~12,000 L per minute at 4000rpm [@600°C]

At 5000rpm, a well-maintained 18RC engine draws ~5,000 L of air per minute and expels ~15,000 L per minute [@600°C]

This volume of exhaust gas must exit efficiently. The tuned 1.50" primary and 1.75" secondary combination maintains exhaust velocity to support scavenging, while the 2.00" collector allows smooth transition into the remainder of the exhaust system — improving usable mid-range torque without sacrificing reliable top-end flow.
