Wildcat Headers WILD089 are designed to suit Holden Torana LH and LX models fitted with 253 or 308 V8 engines. These Australian-made extractors use an interference design for improved exhaust flow, stronger throttle response, and better street performance.

A Holden 253 V8 at 4,000 rpm can draw approximately 6,000 litres of air per minute and expel around 18,000 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute @600°C.

A Holden 308 V8 at 4,000 rpm can draw approximately 7,400 litres of air per minute and expel around 22,200 litres of hot exhaust gas per minute @600°C.

Good headers help manage this high-volume exhaust flow by improving gas speed, scavenging, and cylinder evacuation, which can improve torque, throttle response, and overall engine efficiency.
