Factory Lotus engine pipe assembly

 

New 3" stainless steel engine pipe assembly.

The new 3" engine pipe assembly refitted shows plenty of room over the rear suspension

Sensor fittings reinstalled with easy access
for removal if required

The stainless steel interlocking flange plates at the catalytic converter [move over image] prevent any gasket problems and ensure perfect gas flow into the muffler assembly The cat has been move slightly to the right which give us less angle on the pipe leading into the muffler

Being a 40th anniversary edition Lotus modifying the rear valance to accommodate twin or even quad pipes was not an option so we stayed with the single large 3" exhaust. at least for a while
